Mostly pleased with what I ordered

Ordered in 2.5mm stainless for Buhurt. MOST of the helmet is 2.5mm, some thinning on the flared out edges was expected. Takes a hit and receives a subtle dent, it's obviously not tempered. The fit is quite good, though I did have to put some filler padding in before the pelerine/sport liner. Once in, good fit.

New problem: The chin strap is now too short to be useful, so I converted it to an Ursus strap. 👍

I really cannot find this helmet anywhere else, might order a second in Hardened Steel. But... I had issues when receiving the original helmet. It had a nasty front dent I had to shape out and the brass embellishments covered one of the eye slits (limiting range of vision) and was also placed very uneven making the helmet look lopsided... I was able to neatly grind and file some brass away to balance this. Even for only $600 (because no need for chain aventail) I shouldn't have had to clean up the final product... They were very kind with this fact in mind and sent me a pelerine since I forgot to order one to make-up for the quality control issue.
