Helmet Armor Grand victor Armet type 2

Great Bascinet with trellis visor was used in massive battles. It’s possible to see this helmet on the drawings depicted in the book of Tournament Rene d'Anjou. It’s believed that the mentioned source was written in the 15th century.It’s a Buhurt version of the Kolbenturnierhelm – a German type of the helmet. It has a visor that provides good visibility and ventilation. The great bascinet has a wide metal gorget (bevor), which protects the throat and front of the neck. Additionally, its extended part of the dome covers the back of the neck.
